HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
This is completely dependent on which shoot you choose. Senior sessions are up to 20 professionally edited photos back. Boudoir sessions are up to 30 photos back, and Weddings are up to 200.
Don't fret though, just because you're getting a certain number of photos back, doesn't mean there won't be more to choose from. I typically send about 15 - 20 extra photos, so YOU get the choose the ones you want to download.
If you are wanting more photos than your package provides, you can additionally purchase them. $15 per photo after your max allowable download.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR MY SHOOT?
As we all know, Alaska can have four seasons in a day! Wear weather appropriate clothing, unless you're doing a Boudoir shoot! Hehe.
For Fall Sessions, I tend to lean towards deep greens, mustard, and dark blues! For summer, white and light blue are beautiful! Winter tends to pair best with dark reds, mustard, and deep greens.
When it comes down to it, wear what you feel most confident in!
WHAT ARE YOUR TRAVEL FEES?
Valdez to Anchorage/Fairbanks: $120 for gas. Lodging will be determined per the Airbnb or Hotel.
Valdez to Homer: $250 for gas. Lodging will be determined per the Airbnb or Hotel.
Air travel: will be determined by the ticket pricing and lodging at the time of the shoot.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE TO CANCEL?
You will be charged a $50 cancellation fee if you cancel within a week of your shoot.
You will be charged a $100 cancellation fee if you cancel within 24 hours of your shoot.
We understand that some things are out of our control, but these spots are held, and other shoots are scheduled around yours. Please be mindful and give us a heads up!
WHAT IF THERE'S BAD WEATHER?
We're always down to shoot in bad weather; that's part of shooting in Alaska! However, if the weather is too dangerous to shoot in, we will re-schedule, free of charge. Please look for messages from us, as we will be in contact if the weather isn't looking too friendly.
WHAT IF MY WEDDING DATE CHANGES?
That's not a problem! Just let us know at least one week before hand, so we can get your re-scheduled! One less thing to worry about on your big day, eh?
WILL YOU HELP ME FIND VENDORS?
I am always willing to help! I will give you my top choices when it comes to Valdez vendors. If you're looking for vendors outside of Valdez, I can help you research which vendors will be the right choice/vibe for your big day!
HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENTS?
You will receive a contract and invoice from me once you book your shoot! All you need to provide me with is your email, and I'll take care of the rest. Something awesome; we can do payment plans!
Want to pay in cash? We can do that too! But first, please make sure you pay the deposit through your invoice that I send. All I need is a heads up that paying in cash is your plan.
WHAT IS A SECOND SHOOTER?
A second shooter is typical for weddings. This is a second photographer that is able to get angles that I may not be able to get. If I'm shooting your hubby read his vows, and I'm in front of you two, the second shooter can get photos from behind the alter, of your guests, etc.
It's always a great idea to have a second shooter, as you'll get more bang for your buck, and more photos back! Do keep in mind, I do not have a second shooter on hand, so you'd have to find someone to be that second shooter.
HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?
Around the world for you, my dear! I have no limitations, but I do request you tell me far in advance if you'd like me to travel outside of Alaska.
